Add us as a partner in LinkedIn Business Manager and share one ad account. Under 3 minutes.
To set up the LinkedIn Insight Tag, conversions and the LinkedIn Conversions API, we need access to one ad account. You share it with us as a partner in LinkedIn Business Manager, nothing else is shared, and you can remove our access at any time.
Your part
- Check your ad account is in Business Manager
- Add us as a partner
- Share one ad account with us
- Let us know you're done
Our part
- Set up conversions and the Insight Tag
- Connect your server-side container (Conversions API)
- Check consent signals and match rates
- Confirm with you when tracking is live
Before you start
- You'll need to be a super admin of your company's LinkedIn Business Manager.
- Your ad account must already be in Business Manager. If you only use Campaign Manager today, add the ad account to Business Manager first (by its ad account ID), or ask us to help on a short call.
- Ask your onboarding manager for our LinkedIn Business Manager ID.
Your steps
Step 1 (you): Open Business Manager and check your ad account
Open LinkedIn Business Manager and go to Accounts › Ad accounts. Check the ad account your business advertises from is listed.
Step 2 (you): Add us as a partner
Go to Partners, click Add partner, and enter the Business Manager ID your onboarding manager sent you. Check the partner name shows as Lupe | TDS.
Step 3 (you): Share your ad account with us
Choose only the ad account your business advertises from and give us the Campaign Manager role. You don't need to share any company pages.
Step 4 (you): Let us know you're done
Send your onboarding manager the name and ID of the ad account you shared.
What this access does, and doesn't, give us
| Area | Access | What that means |
|---|---|---|
| Your chosen ad account | Campaign Manager | Set up the Insight Tag, conversions and the Conversions API connection, and check conversion reporting. |
| Campaigns and budgets | Not used | The role technically allows campaign changes. We don't make them unless you ask. |
| Other ad accounts | No | Only the one ad account you share. |
| Company pages | No | No posting, messages or page administration. |
| Billing | No | No payment methods or invoices. |
Good to know
You're always in control
You can change or remove our access at any time from Partners in your Business Manager.
Labels can vary
LinkedIn updates Business Manager regularly, so names and menus can differ slightly between accounts. If something doesn't match, your onboarding manager will walk through it with you.
