Add us as a partner in Pinterest Business Manager and share one ad account. Under 3 minutes.

Client Onboarding ◷ Under 5 minutes
Updated Nov 3, 2026

To set up the Pinterest tag and the Pinterest Conversions API, we need access to one ad account. You share it with us as a partner from your own Business Manager, nothing else is shared, and you can remove our access at any time.

Your part

  • Add us as a partner
  • Share one ad account with us
  • Let us know you're done

Our part

  • Check your Pinterest tag and events
  • Connect your server-side container (Conversions API)
  • Check deduplication and consent signals
  • Confirm with you when tracking is live

Before you start

  • You'll need admin access to your Pinterest business account and Business Manager.
  • Ask your onboarding manager for our Pinterest business ID.

Your steps

Step 1 (you): Open Business Manager

Log in to your Pinterest business account. Click the menu icon in the top-left corner, then under Manage business select Business Manager.

Step 2 (you): Add us as a partner

Click Partners in the left-hand menu, then Add partner. Enter the business ID your onboarding manager sent you and select Invite a partner to access your assets.

Add us as a partner, not an employee
Pinterest treats employees and partners differently. Adding us as an employee can stop ad account access working.

Step 3 (you): Share your ad account

Click Show assets. On the Accounts tab, find the ad account your business advertises from and switch on Analyst only. Leave the Profile tab unticked. Click Next, check the summary, then click Send invite.

Step 4 (you): Let us know you're done

Send your onboarding manager the name and ID of the ad account you shared. We'll accept the invite from our side.

What this access does, and doesn't, give us

AreaAccessWhat that means
Your chosen ad accountAnalystView and manage conversion tags, upload conversions, and view reporting.

Billing and invoicesNoNo payment methods, invoices or business settings.

Good to know

You're always in control
